GROUPS

B'rit Hadasha Chavurah Groups meet in Bartlett and Germantown three times every month. All are welcome to attend. For more information click here.

B'rit Hadasha is a diverse, mult-generational fellowship. We periodically have special events for the men and women respectively, as well as for children. Please contact the office or check our calendar for other group events coming up.

CLASSES

Shabbat school classes are held regularly for the children, who are divided up into groups for age-appropriate lessons during the sermon portion of the service.

Torah study is held every Saturday at 9:00am in the Oneg Room. This one hour weekly class is a discussion group covering the weekly Torah readings. Click here to view the Torah reading schedule.

Bible studies are held periodically, are typically held in a home, and generally last 4-12 weeks. Some of the studies we have done in recent years include the books of Esther, Matthew, Hebrews, and James. Though not a class, from the pulpit we have also enjoyed expository series on the books of Joshua, Acts, and Hebrews.

Topical studies are periodically held as well. These types of devotionals involve studying a theme or topic from a published book dealing with that issue from a Biblical perspective. Some of the books/topics that we've covered include: The Bait of Satan by John Bevere (bitterness), Under Cover by John Bevere (spiritual authority), and Hearing God by Larry Kreider (prayer). Our men have studied the book Wild at Heart by John Eldredge while our women studied Having a Mary Heart in a Martha World by Joanna Weaver.

Jewish studies are important to us also. Some of the classes we have held include Hebrew language workshops, Introduction to Jewish liturgy, classes on various Jewish holidays & customs, HaYesod (Torah 101), and Introduction to Rabbinic Literature: Pirkei Avot.

Other classes are offered from time to time such as Israeli dance workshops, membership/inquirer's classes, and miscellaneous lectures covering a variety of topics. Check back often or call our office for any upcoming classes.
