ELDERS (Z'KENIM)
The Board of Elders is the ruling body of our congregation, overseeing administrative affairs as well as the spiritual life of the congregation
Chad and Rebecca
Chad and Rebecca moved from Orlando, FL. to Memphis to be part of Brit Hadasha in September of 2007. Chad has previously served as the Assistant Congregation Leader, overseer of discipleship, overseer of the Chavurah Groups, administrator, worship leader and budget committee member. Chad has now been appointed as the Congregational Leader of Brit Hadasha.
Dr. Allen Raich & his wife Becky
Allen & Becky have been part of B'rit Hadasha since the congregation was formed in 1982, and have both served in numerous roles. Allen serves as the Associate Congregational Leader of Brit Hadasha.
Bill Becraft & his wife Nancy
Bill and Nancy came to B'rit Hadasha in 1984 and have served in a variety of roles.
DEACONS (SHAMASHIM)
Deacons are individuals meeting Biblical criteria who are recognized as servants within the congregation. B'rit Hadasha's shamashim fill various roles of service.
Susan Miller
Susan has been a part of B'rit Hadasha since 1983. She has served in numerous roles and currently leads the women's ministry and co-leads the New Building Committee.
Lenora Runge
Lenora has led in worship and as overseer of the Dance Ministry in years past.
Larry & Gwen Ruggles
Larry came to B'rit in 1996 and Gwen in 2000, and were married here in 2002. Larry serves on the Budget Committee and Gwen is on sabbatical as she recovers from back surgery.
Darryl & Janice Godinez
The Godinez family came to B'rit Hadasha in 1999, and have served in various capacities. Currently Darryl & Janice oversee the sadranim (greeters). Janice serves as our Bookkeeper and sends out birthday & anniversary cards, and Darryl also schedules people for various bimah responsibilities. Darryl also assists in the leading of the weekly Torah Study on Shabbat mornings.
Brant & Anna Boner
Brant & Anna were recognized as a deacon couple in April of 2009. Brant leads one of our worship teams and is the assistant leader of the Bartlett Chavurah Group. Anna is the nursery coordinator, serves on the worship teams and has coordinator the last two years Community Passover Seders.
John & Rebecca Mathew
John & Rebecca were recognized as a deacon couple in April 2009. John leads the Bartlett Chavurah Group, serves on the financial team, serves on the budget committee and has strong gifts in the areas of teaching and evangelism. Rebecca helps to lead our corporate prayer gatherings on Shabbat, serves in Shabbat School and has helped in various support roles for our community events.
