B'rit Hadasha's View of Israel
There is a special place in God's heart for the land and people of Israel. It is thus God's love that compels us to love, serve and show support to Israel. Although we are a small congregation, we endeavor to support both Messianic and mainstream Jewish causes in eretz Yisrael and encourage our readers to do likewise.

Delegates from B'rit Hadasha and other UMJC member congregations from around the world convened in Portsmouth, VA, for their 27th annual business meeting and conference in 2006, and they issued the following statement in support of Israel:

"We, the delegates of the Union of Messianic Jewish Congregations (UMJC), with one voice affirm the right of Israel to maintain safe, secure, and defensible international borders. We convey to the people and government of Israel our support during this current military and political crisis. "It is our hope for Israel to have peace with her neighbors. We back Israel's right and desire to be free of terrorist attacks, and to take necessary action to ensure freedom from terror on all of her borders."

5. Visit Israel, and while there, donate blood

Supporting your local Jewish federation is a sign of solidarity with k'lal Yisrael (the worldwide Jewish community).
