Passover at B'rit Hadasha Print E-mail

"...for Messiah, our Passover lamb, has been sacrificed.
Therefore let us celebrate the Feast..." (1 Corinthians 5:7-8)

Passover (Hebrew Pesach) is the annual festival of remembrance celebrated worldwide by Jewish people and many Christians. At B'rit Hadasha we observe the Passover by removing all leavened products from our homes and conducting a special service/meal called the seder. We also hold an annual Community Seder that has become very popular. At Passover we remember the deliverance of the ancient Israelites from the bondage of slavery in Egypt under Moses and Aaron by the blood of a lamb. We also remember how God made possible all mankind's deliverance from the bondage of sin by the blood of another Lamb, Yeshua the Messiah.
