| "HEARING
GOD" the theme for March
A 4-part series by Rabbi
Gary
Using Larry Kreider's highly recommended book Hearing God
30 Different Ways, Rabbi Gary is preaching a 4-part series
this month on the subject of hearing God. Accompanying the series,
the congregation has been invited to participate in a 30- day
fast & prayer time, with individuals and families each taking
a day, thus forming a 30-day chain of prayer. The congregation
is especially encouraged to pray for our New Building campaign,
which is experiencing an unforeseen delay as the architectural
firm is now revising the design to cut costs. We covet your prayers
for this and the many other projects being planned here at B'rit
Hadasha.

PASSOVER
JUST AROUND THE CORNER
Get your tickets today!

B'rit Hadasha's annual Community Passover seder will take place
Good Friday, April 14th, 2006 at 6:30pm at the Woodland Hills
Grand Ballroom. This special evening celebrates the deliverance
of the ancient Israelites from Egyptian bondage by the blood
of a lamb, but for us we also celebrate our deliverance from
the bondage of sin made possible by the Lamb of God (Yeshua/Jesus
the Messiah). You can get more information, order tickets, or
get maps/directions at our Passover website, www.PassoverMemphis.com.

WHAT'S
NU ?
In February we began a 9-week Bible study on the book of James
and welcomed noted Christian leader Don Finto as a guest speaker.
Don's message is available on our website at our new Virtual
Shul page. Just click the link below and select the "2-11-
06 Message" to hear it in streaming audio. February 23rd
we said goodbye to B'rit Hadasha deacon Don Lindsay, who passed
away earlier that week. From his wheelchair Don led our Men's
ministry (the Men of Joy), led prayer meetings for our new building,
and served on the Budget Committee, all with a beaming smile.
Don will be greatly missed.
March 10-13 we held a 3-day fast for Israel and the Jewish people
worldwide, and celebrated Purim, the Feast of Esther. Our James
Bible study is continuing, and a Hebrew Workshop is planned
for March 21st. On March 25th a kiddush is planned for after
service, and a Praise Service will be held that evening.
