We had a fantastic class! Everyone arrived in pajamas, carrying stuffed animals and blankets. We turned off the lights and read the story about Jacob and his dream of angels ascending and descending the ladder. We also learned that Adonai is with us even when we feel lonely or scared. At the end, the kids recited their verses, and we celebrated with vanilla ice cream topped with extras as a reward for memorizing their verses!
