Not just the work of skilled craftsmen, but the work of a community working together and led by Spirit-filled craftsmen. G-d’s detailed instructions, in and of themselves, aren’t enough. Only through the activation of the Spirit of G-d were they able “do everything G-d commanded” — and in this, we see a foreshadowing of the New Covenant and a picture of how it must be walked out both corporately and individually, empowered by the Spirit.
