Last week in Shabbat School we had a wonderful time! The kids had some delicious hot chocolate, but since it was quite hot, they had to wait a little while for it to cool down before they could enjoy it. From this the kids learned that sometimes G‑d makes us wait, just like Abraham had to wait for G‑d’s promises to come true.
This Sabbath, we will explore how the Torah and the New Covenant teach us that G‑d can bring good even in the midst of sadnessor difficulty. Just as Isaac found comfort and joy after his mother’s passing, and the disciples received the Ruach ha-Kodesh with happiness, we can trust that G‑d is with us during tough times and can deliver joy and renewed blessings.
