Rebelling Against G-d

Last week in Shabbat School we discussed how B’nei Yisrael were scared and let fears make them doubt they could do what Adonai asked them to do. This Shabbat coming we are going to see what happens when some of the people chose to rebel against Moses and Adonai himself.

Trusting the LORD

Last week in our Shabbat School, we learned about how Adonai provided for B’nei Yisrael in the wilderness with manna and with water. Adonai still provides for us today! Next Shabbat we will talk about trusting Adonai even if it seems scary!

Knowing G-d wants to Bless Us

Last week at Shabbat School, we learned all about the feast of Shavuot and how it teaches us about the Holy Spirit. In the Wilderness

This past week in Shabbat School, we learned about being fair and unfair to others and how when we are fair to others, we are showing that we trust ADONAI. Next week, we begin the book of Bamidbar or Numbers.

Taking Away Our Sins

In Shabbat School this last week we learned about how important being grateful is from the story of Yeshua healing ten lepers. Only one of the lepers was grateful enough to return to Yeshua and thank him. This coming Shabbat, we continue with the Torah portion that explains Yom Kippur and we learn about removing our sins.

Being Grateful

Last Shabbat we learned the ways ADONAI taught His people to identify which animals were good to eat and which were not. Then we played a game to classify all the plastic toy animals ion our classroom. Did you know grasshoppers are good to eat?     This next Shabbat we will learn about being grateful using a story of some men who had tza’arat (lepers).

Exodus from Egypt

Last week at Shabbat School, we learned about the Plate from the Passover. We made a representation of the elements on the plate to remind us of the elements and what they mean. Next Shabbat we continue learning about Passover and the Feast of Unleavened Bread and what is tells us about ADONAI and the Exodus from Egypt.
